About us

Welcome to AFCM

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Anointing Fire Catholic Ministry (AFCM) is a Catholic charismatic missionary movement founded by Rev. Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil for world evangelization. He is a member of the Diocese of Palghat in India and the founder and director of Anointing Fire Catholic Ministries for world evangelization.

Patronage

His Excellency Mar Jacob Manathodath of the Diocese of Palghat, India, is the Patron of Anointing Fire Catholic Ministries worldwide. The local bishop of the area becomes the patron of the ministry once it is a registered charity under his diocese.

Activities and Mission

AFCM members conduct retreats and conferences for priests, religious, and lay people. All teachings are based on Catholic teaching and the Holy Bible.

Origins and Ministries

AFCM Ministries are basically derived from Sehion Ministries (www.sehion.org) in India. AFCM offers various ministries such as:

  • Conducting parish retreats and conferences
  • Formation programmes and seminars
  • Youth ministries
  • Media ministries

These ministries serve Catholic children, youth, and adults in English and Malayalam languages. AFCM members voluntarily serve the Church for the purpose of evangelization. Today, it ministers to millions of people through various ministries and media.
